Book Tours and Conventions

I am not scheduled to attend any book conventions at this time, but I’m planning several for 2014.  I will be in Florida in December 2013 and will try to schedule some book signings then!

I love reviews!  You can read many reviews about my books on and on  I used to link to them here, but now there are too many (one of those “happy problems”).  I do read all of them and comment on all Amazon reviews.  I know there are plenty of authors who think commenting on a review is a bad idea, but I can’t help but express my gratitude for readers who not only read the books but take the time to share their thoughts about them with others.

A note for book reviewers…

If you’d like to review one of my books for your book review blog, please fill out this form.

Elle…I downloaded “Wrecked” several months ago to my Kindle Fire. Started reading what I, at that time, thought would be a slow moving book… boy was I wrong! Just completed it tonight and I must say you penned the best ending I could ever imagine! Throughout the entire story, I was met with twists and turns, never once expecting the outcome until I finished each chapter. Am looking forward to following more of your writings. Since my wife collects Nicholas Sparks, my endeavor now will be collecting Elle Casey!

    • Elle says:

I’m so glad to hear this!! I’ve gotten a lot of flak over that ending (cliffhanger), so I’m really happy it worked for you. It did for me too. ha, ha. I’m a Nicolas Sparks fan myself, but I sure am happy to hear you will be collecting my work. Thanks for stopping by. xoxo Elle

Wrecked seems cool; I think I’ll try:)

Hi Elle! I started reading your book Apocalypsis four days ago. Tonight I started reading the third book. Even though I am only fourteen years old I am an avid reader. I love to read anything from Jane Eyre to Divergent. By far the post apocalyptic and dystopian books are my favorite. I have been getting bored with the same old Hunger Games books over and over. I borrowed the first book of your series with no expectations. I read the first few pages, put the book down and did not pick it up for a couple of days. When I really sat down with it I was enthralled. I can say when I wasn’t at school I was stuck on my kindle. The beginning didn’t catch my eye, nor did the cover. I really go into it after meeting Peter. Your characters are really amazing. I feel like Bryn, Bodo, and Peter are with me when I’m reading. I know this isn’t a big deal because I’m just some high schooler but you have become one of my idols. I’m an aspiring author ans I would really like any hints and tips from you. I cannot wait for the fourth installment in March. Thank you so much for your time, and your writing. I own a poodle too so I think Buster is amazing! Again, you are amazing, your ideas are original and I will be reading more of your work. Thank you.

    - Emily (the website listed is all of my current works! Since you are an author Figment is always looking for published authors to hold contests. It would be a great way for you to get your name out there!)

    • Elle says:

Emily, if I were going to give you a piece of writing advice, it would be to choose a daily word count goal, pick the days for that writing, and always meet your goal. Decide “I’m going to write 4 days a week, and a minimum of 500 words each day,” and then stick to that goal no matter what. If you do, you’ll have a book written in no time. :) xoxo Elle

  4. Emily says:

Thanks Elle! It means a lot to me for you to take your time and respond! I’ve never thought about setting down days to write. I set word limits but never days set aside for writing. I will definitely try this out! I hope you never get discouraged by some of the horrible reviewer that are criticizing your work and not being constructive. Your threats to just go do laundry scare me! Keep churning those books out. You have no problem with Quality and Quantity. :D Thanks again!

    • Elle says:

You are very welcome. Anything I can do to encourage fellow writer I want to do! I can’t tell you how fulfilling it is to experience reader love. :) I try not to get discouraged; luckily I have lots of people who are very supportive who keep me motivated – people like you! xoxo Elle

I love to read and love stories that really engage me. I read the entire Fae series, and just noticed you have lots more books so I ordered them for my kindle. I usually finish your books in about 2 days (yes a little obsessively). I just want to thank you for not only great books but for making books that do not have sexual content just to have sexual content….. I cannot express how grateful I am for that alone!

    • Elle says:

Yay, I’m so glad!! I must confess … I do write erotica, but under a totally different and secret pen name, so if I ever feel the need to write sexy scenes, I do it there. lol . Seriously, though, I don’t leave sex out on purpose, I just don’t see it as a central theme in the type of books I write as Elle Casey. Someday I’ll write a teen romance and it will be in there, but I’ll be sure to warn readers in the blurb. :) Thanks much for your readership! xoxo Elle

  6. Teryn says:

I just had to write you a comment to let you know how much I adore your books! I finished Wrecked first, and thought it was one of the better books that I have read in a while! I was really hooked and wanted to continue on to Reckless. (Which I will have to wait on since money is tight at the moment. But it is on my to do list and will read it for sure when the time comes!)The other day my friend sent me a message saying how “Kahayatle” was free on, and she is a lover of your work as well! So I downloaded it and had it read within 42 hours! Can’t wait to read “Warpaint”, as well as the rest! I am totally hooked right now. I got the sample off Amazon, so I have that to read until I can buy it on my kindle! Thanks again for writing these wonderful books!! Love, love, love them and you!!

    • Elle says:

Teryn, Thank you so much for your lovely words!! You are so sweet! I love that you love the stories (and me! Wow!). And I’m totally excited to know that you and your friends are talking about my work. It means the world to me that you’d share my work with others. I need more readers like you guys. I hope you can find the time to leave reviews for me on Amazon and Goodreads. I’m addicted to reader love! xoxo Elle

  7. Meagan says:

Elle- Your work is amazing. I am a Mom of an active teenage boy and I work full time. Your work has become my escape. Apocalypsis is an amazing series! I have read the series twice. First time in October and now again this week in preparation for Haven. I never believed I could like any type of post apocalyptic story, but since I really loved all your other stories, I would give this a try. I am so glad I did. It is my favorite of all of your work. This series will be read over and over in my house. Please keep writing! I am always looking to see what new work you have come up with. I have enjoyed your work so much I have turned my book club members on to your work too!

Is there a movie deal coming? That would be great to see your work on screen! Come on Haven…..I am not counting days, I am counting hours!!! :) Thanks so much I truly appreciate what you do for me!

    • Elle says:

Meagan, thank you so much for stopping by to tell me this. You’ve packed so many nice things in this post I don’t know where to start! I love that my books are your escape and that I’ve brought you into a genre and world you didn’t think you’d enjoy. What a coup for me as a writer! Thank you too for spreading the word about my work. That’s the only way I can keep writing, if people share and spread the love.

I wish I could say there was a movie deal coming. Wouldn’t that be awesome? Someone in Hollywood has to fall in love with my work first, and so far that hasn’t happened. Feel free to let your movie producer friends know about it. lol xoxo Elle

  8. Roger says:

Wow, I haven’t read a book cover to cover since I read a paperback in the mid 80′s (Apocalyptic style) as a Marine.
I have now read all 4 of the Apocalypsis seris, I could not put them down for lond (even at work on my phone).
Two things are there anymor in the seris or another seris of world gone haywire? Second wich of your other books are most like this seris so I can start them next.
Again wow are you an awsome writer I felt like I was there and with military training I could see me jumping in to help with ideas if I were there.

thanks for turning me onto reading.

    • Elle says:

Roger I’m so glad you found my books!! Such a great thing for me to read that you got so into it. I’m ex military myself, so I know if I were in this situation I’d want some veterans at my Haven. ;) . Xoxo. Elle

  9. Roger says:

I live in Sanford, FL and I know the exit’s on 95 it was wild to imagine with your book

  10. Beth says:

Elle, I downloaded the first War of the Fae because it was free.
I read all the Jayne Sparks books in 2 weeks. I LOVED them. Her potty mouth is so much like mine and her pixie is hysterical.I loved their relationship so much. Where can I get one? Great job on the series. Your humor is refreshing. Reading those books were like hanging out with my friends. By the way I am 48 years old and I’m glad to see I’m not the only middle aged adult reading them. You rock!!!

    • Elle says:

I’m so happy you liked them. I’m thrilled to have you as a reader! As soon as I find a pixie for myself, I’ll let you know. :) xoxo Elle P.S.I hope you have and can take the time to review the books. It helps me find new readers. :)

  11. Carole says:

Ok, so I finally got the last in the Apocalypsis series and finished it. Now I am left to ponder, what will I do without Bryn and Bodo? LOL!!! I feel like they are family they have been with me for so long. Will there be a #5? It is on to Wrecked for me, love your books Elle. I am a hard to grab person, but your writing has me hooked. Your style of humor is right up my alley.

    • Elle says:

Yay, so glad you liked the whole series. There might be an offshoot series next year. I don’t have that firmed up yet, but it’s very tempting. I take your compliments as a big pat on the back, so thank you for stopping by. xoxo Elle

  12. Andrea says:

I just finished Shine Not Burn. I love the way you made the characters seem like real people. I have to tell you that I cried tears of joy, which rarely happens to me when I read a book. This was the first of your books that I read and I will definately be back for more! Keep up the good work!

  13. Star Fouse says:

First of all I want to say that I had never read any of your books until Rebel. Which I just finished like a minute ago. For the most part I really enjoyed it and id be lying if i said i didnt get some strange looks from people at work when I burst out randomly laughing. It was extremely entertaining! I had a slight problem with Tea and Rebels relationship. I felt it lacked experiences for them to bond with and to have built such a strong relationship on. As you can see though, it didnt put me off much at all. That being said, I still loved this book very much! Did I say that I loved it? Im so glad that I read it. Thank you for the awesome entertainment and ill be sure to look up the rest of the books in this series. Not to mention other books youve written.

    • Elle says:

So glad you liked it. Personally, I’ve fallen for guys pretty hard right from the get-go without a whole lot of time warming up, and so I know it’s possible. I like to write about people who have a special connection that defies common logic. One of those one in a million kind of relationships that’s destined to be. One day I’ll write about the friends who become lovers type relationship, but Rebel is definitely not in that vein.

  14. Amanda A says:

OMG I love Just one night I can’t wait for part 4. I hope I don’t have to wait much longer.

  15. Bonnie King says:

I just finished Part 4 and was really looking forward to Part 5. I was thrilled when I found it was available on June 10, however, I have a NOOK and can’t yet access it. Do you know when it will be available through Barnes and Noble?

  16. mendy rowe says:

Elle, I have read all 6 books in one day….I couldn’t put it down and I laughed so hard when William is thinking to himself referring to his manhood as John Thomas and needing a weekly…obviously I’m not around people that are British so the was he talks cracked me up…love it!!! Now will you be writing a book about mia and Edward?
