  5. I LOVE the War of the Fae books, and cannot wait to read Clash of the Otherworlds! The sneak peek has just whet my appetite! I tell you what, it’s really embarrassing to be sitting at work sneaking a couple chapters (because I can’t put it down) and snorting in amusement! My office mate thinks I’m insane, but I don’t dare tell her what I’m doing!! Anyway, keep on writing! I love your books!!

  6. I am so excited for the first book in the Clash of the Otherworlds to come out in September! I started reading the first book in the War of the Fae series and finish the four books in less than a week! I just happened upon the first book as a I was looking on my kindle for a good fiction read. The series greatly exceeded my expectations! Such a fun and engaging series that I literally could not put down! Elle, your writing just draws me in and makes me want to be a part of the story. Thanks! (Can’t wait for September!)

  9. I just finished the whole War of Fae series. I left feedback last night on the 4th book on Amazon but for some reason they haven’t approved it yet…maybe because I said “demon weiner” in it lol. Every time I even think those words I bust out laughing. My husband kept on saying “what??” the entire time I was reading the series because I would just bust a gut laughing. I am 28 yrs old and my guilty secret is YA (lol I think everyones is) and you rock, Elle. I love your books. I laughed, I got mad, I cried, all kinds of emotional. I alsl learned some new vocabulary from Jayne lol. She is so funny. I thought the 4th book was the last of Jayne…so glad that a new series is coming featuring her! I cannot wait to read it. I love all of the characters but Tim and Jayne the most. Jayne kicks A**!

  10. I loved the War of the Fae series so much. I was all kinds of emotional, my god. I read all four in about a week (even indulging with my Kindle at work when it was slow). You are an amazing writer and I’m so glad that an author I was following on Goodreads recommended your book. If it wasn’t for her I would have missed out on an epic series. Also, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for not ending with Jayne’s story in New World Order. I kept glancing at the percentage of book I had left when I was reading about the binding, and I was terrified I bought the only book that didn’t have the full story in it. I cannot wait for the new series to come out. September needs to hurry the hell up, that’s for sure! Oh, and I should also throw in here that I love all of your characters. Jayne and Tim are the best things ever. I would eat them both up if I could. I laughed my ass off so much, and I know no matter what book I read from this point out I will always remember when Jayne had her first tree-hugging experience and everything that lead up to it. Simply hilarious. Now, if my bad-boy dreams come to life with Ben in the new series I will be one very happy girl. *drool* Make us proud Elle! 😉

  11. I just want to say I LOVE your writing. Not many books have enthralled and entwined my imagination and brought me into the storyline and yours take the cake! Like many of your readers, I’m sure, I read the 4 books in a weekend and promptly set out to re-read them again. I have read many novels of the YA genre and your imagery and the flow and timing of the storyline set you apart from the rest. You have an extreme talent and I look forward to any and all of your future works. I truly hope that you meet your goal to write full-time, if you haven’t already 🙂

  13. Fabulous books! I blazed through all four of the fae books in less than three days and I can’t wait to see what you do in the otherworld series. Thank you so much for being an author who doesn’t just string the reader along with unanswered questions & unnecessary interruptions that leave the reader annoyed and wondering what the heck is going on. You have created some amazing characters and you allowed them to develop without changing the true nature/essence of who they are. I must say, I was sad to see Chase leave, but I am looking forward to seeing how things turn out with Ben. Please continue with this series…so that I don’t have to sit here wondering what is going on in these characters lives…:)

  26. Yesterday I finished reading the 4th book of War Of The Fae and decided not to read the preview of Clash of the Otherworlds and wait until it is released to read the whole thing.
    But I missed so much all the characters that had been with me for the last few days that I couldn’t help it and read it!
    How about June 30th for a release date??? Can’t wait!
    You are a wonderful writer… I am a 40 year mother of 2 girls and can’t wait for them to grow up a bit more and read your books.

  29. I recently downloaded The Changelings: Book 1 for my Kindle Fire. I will admit that I downloaded it because it was free and met my criteria for what I like to read. I just want to say that this is one of the BEST series I have ever read. And I read A LOT. (I’ve read over 200 fiction/fantasy novels in the past year and half so I feel like I am qualified to make that statement.) Jayne is one of the best characters that I’ve ever come across. Her dialogue peppered with expletives is actually endearing and I couldn’t help but love her. I have read other books where there were characters that I really liked, but never have I loved a main character as much as I do Jayne. I can hardly wait to read the follow up series (which I hope will be coming out soon???)

  30. Just wanted to say that I loved these books! I got the first one free then read the others within the week. When I wasn’t laughing I was crying so I think my dogs thought there was something wrong with me haha. I am 52 years old and could not have been more entertained by your wonderful, loveable characters and stories. (especially since I believe in the fae 😉 ) This would make such a good movie! I can’t wait for Clash! I’m recommending your books to everyone I know. Thank you so much.

I rarely laugh out load but I kept going into fits while reading the War of the Fae series. I most also admit that I can’t stand cussing and usually end up personally offended; but not this time.   37. Ahhh, I’m addicted! I just devoured all 4 of the “War of the Fae” books within the span of two days, maybe even less and I was quite bummed when I realized that the next book isn’t out yet… I have been awfully picky about books lately but I simply LOVE this series! The way I usually rate books is by my reaction to them aka do they make me cry or laugh and I was laughing through every book! Hahaha I even considered blowing off my friends last night so I could continue reading.. Anywho! I will be counting down the days until I can read The Clash because the world you created is so vivid and charming that I can’t wait to dive back in. So thank you for writing these great stories and filling my head with multiple profanities making me enjoy every word on every page of each story.

    I just wanted to express what a wonderful talent for humor and character development you have shown. I have read a fair number of fantasy novels and found that your characters have such strong personalities that i can often predict what they will say in the next sentence. Not mention the number of tears I have shed laughing at that blasted pixie.

    I had a question but understand if you cant give all of the details yet…you and those cliffhangers….

    – is there a planned number of books for the other worlds series?

          • True there wasn’t an official cliffhanger but the main character did just get put in an awkward forced relationship (leaving vague as to not spoil it for others) And I am really curious to see how that and the upcoming conflict will be developed :p Call me impatient when it comes to good stories. =D

  40. I have never been a huge reader. I would always read something and 3 chapter later be done with it. And I have never read a series before. But my sister got me a kindle for christmas and I happened to come across book 1 in one of the top kindles list and after reading the discription decided to give it a shot. Oh how I loved it, after finishing book one I immediatlely just onto the kindle store and bought the rest of the series. I read them every chance I got. I enjoyed, actually loved these books and cannot watch to read clash. I told everyone I knew that loved to read (and even those who dont) all about them. And I have recently purchased more of your books on my kindle and cannot wait to bury myself into one of you amazing books again. Thank you so much to openning up my eyes to what books can really be.   44. Elle, I read the war of the Fae series in record time, couldn’t get enough of them. So much so that my husband was getting annoyed. I am a 53 year old woman going through a difficult time in my life and your books have provided a very welcome diversion and relief from the stress and sadness I am going through. A piece of heaven.
    I read a lot and I never found a read that uplifted me as much as yours. You are a wonderful writer and your books took me through a journey I never wanted to end. Many times I found myself laughing out loud and even crying. What I absolutely LOVE about your writing is that even during difficult times you manage to keep the reader in a happy place and that’s not an easy thing to do. Even when there wasn’t a whole lot happening, I was hanging on your every word and couldn’t wait to “turn the page” of my Kindle. I was happy reading even just the minor stuff and details about each one of the characters and their interactions, nothing was boring!
    When I got to the end of the 4th book I felt a sense of void, a sorrow to part with the characters… I was incredibly excited to find out you’re coming out with Clash! I am very happy you decided to continue with the story and can’t wait to read it. When exactly is it coming out?

  50. Just finished reading all 3 books from the “Apocalypsis” series. It was wonderful. I had started with the “War of the Fae” series and was wondering what I was going to do until your next series “Clash of the Overworld” comes out. I had been putting off reading the “Apocalypsis” series as I was not sure I would like it. Boy, was I wrong. Now I can’t wait until after the 1st of the year for the next book. You are a wonderful writer and have now read all of your books. I am counting down the days until the end of this month for your next book. I have never been a big reader until I started reading your books. Now I find myself wanting more. I am looking forward to all your writings. If you are writing it, then I am reading it.   52. I don’t even know where to start, but I just finished the fourth book and let me just tell you, I have never laughed so hard, cried while reading a book ever. I became so wrapped up into these characters and their story that I felt apart of it all, my imagination just has went wild!!! Jayne and Tim are of course my absolute favorite, Jayne with her spit fire attitude and humor and Tim with his humorous Pride and GAS ( I think I died laughing every time he farted..lol). But truly all the characters had so much depth an loved them all!!This book was beautifully written, not like some books where I start to skip paragraphs bc it’s a bunch of babble!! But again thank you So much for these AWESOMLEY AMAZING BOOKS! Cannot wait for the spin off!

  54. I’ve read War of the Fae series, Apocolypsis series and just now finished Clash of the Otherworlds and I adored them all! I love the heroines from both of those series, especially since they are so humanly (or,ahem,changelingly)flawed. They persevere despite the fallbacks – to accomplish what they know in their heart is the right thing to do for the sake of those they love. Your characters are so well developed that they just pull me into the stories. I can totally picture the scenes so clearly. Thank you Elle. You are an amazing writer and I love how your mind works!! BTW, I’m 55 yrs old and don’t usually get into the Y.A. genre but I am now a diehard fan of yours. Now get back to work on that Clash series, not to mention the next Apolcolypsis book!! lol

    Love the series and how I laugh. I am not one to use expletives but they way you string them together is hilarious. When will the sneak peek be ready for book 3 and how many books in the second series? These are such fun little reads you fly right through them which makes me appreciate your labor more. However we fans still want to rush the process while having great expectations…no pressure. Lol

  66. Three weeks ago I discovered your first book in the Apocalypsis series. Since then I have read them all and am anxiously waiting for Haven!

    I also was totally hooked on War of the Fae and the Clash of the Underworld series.

    Is there any chance there will be a fourth book in the Clash series? I sooo loved Jayne and Spike together!

  69. I was searching amazon for a new series to read and hit upon your fae series. I downloaded the first book to see how I’d enjoy it and was quickly drawn into the story. Within a week I’ve read them all (the first 4 and the last 3). I so enjoy how the characters are so real and all the laughter I’ve experienced reading about farts! Thank you for sharing your creative ideas with us. 🙂

  70. Got your first book in the War of the Fae free on Amazon last week and then bought and downloaded the next 6 books!!! Had them all read in less than a week. So so nice to have something different from the usual vamps and weres. What a fantastic world you created. Will have to check out your other books…I’m afraid to look…money short this month 😀

      • I just read somewhere that there will be 3 new books to go along with the war of the fae and portal guardians series’ is this true?If so, I am so excited ! Thanks to u and both series about Jane my 15 yr. Old no longer has to be in a special reading class u saved us by writing such great books that she and I both could not put down.
